My 18 ft Webbcraft was named -Dont worry...She's 18- after once seeing a 17 ft boat named -shes only 17-

Also, proud of myself, did the lettering myself with a couple beers, a paintbrush and a steady hand.

i like that one. very original. thought mine was original, evil sancha, it just means evil mistress

hey all.....new to the site. i've really enjoyed reading all the fun and creative names. our 20 foot glastron is called "Tide One On" but our next boat will be one of the following:

High Heat
The Big Show
Goin? Yard
Caught Looking
Strike Three (backward K in strike)
On Deck
L8 Breaking

we're big baseball fans and our oldest son is a college pitcher....

We're getting a little 14 foot aluminum for fishing the small lakes and ponds around here. I"ve got a name picked out and wondered if anyone had heard it before. Since it's small.....

Back in the CB era I had a blue chevy PU with a loud exhaust. My buds gave me the name [CB handle] of BLUE THUNDER. Then I bought a boat. A blue Thundercraft -see below. BLUE THUNDER again. Corny and unoriginal, but fits.

Well, I named my 15ft Legend- Dundee,as in crocodile dundee, as long as it doesn't take me down under I'm good! Whaka Whaka!

Hi, My first boat (fathers actually) was named Cop Out (not really sure why, he was not in law enforcement, but.....
The next boat was in the early 80's in Miami. Named the boat "BOAT" had a large UPC symbol next to the name. The only difficulty I had was when I called the Coast Guard for assistance, and told them "this is the yacht, "BOAT", and thus ensued a Abbot and Costello type routine over the radio. They sent out a 45' Cutter, to tow in my monsterous 23' Allmand Ticonderoga (kind of like shooting a rabbit with an elephant gun, but we did get to shore, and I did get to chat up the attractive Coast Guard lady.

We have an 80's era boat and the wife likes the name "Totally Tubular".

I wanted to put "My Missed Stress" on the stern but got overruled.

Still no name...

My son bought a 19' 170hp 1976 Checkmate Convincer.I loaned him the $money$.He and his buddy put 'Lady of Mine' on this bad boy's transom.Well,my son lost his job and said"Dad,will you buy my boat?, I need the money."But you owe me son.Well,being a Dad I said "sure"!

The first thing I did was change that name! It now says " Bite Me".With a small TAZ decal below it!

BTW,the boat is terrific and fast.

My 18 Foot 1975 Sea Ray is call "Franken Boat". This is because when I got it it was a basket case and it now has parts from alot of other boats in the junk yard. It just seemed appropriate to my wife that would be the name. She wants to put big bolts on it.

My 1946 Deluxe CC is "Ben About" since it has been around for 65 years and to honor my nephew Ben with this run-ABout.

My 1933 Split Cockpit CC is named "Split Decision"
