My buddy had a 28' offshore boat. Bought it while on a trip to the coast (w/o consulting the bosslady). Stopped on the way home to have "She'll Get Over It" put on the side of the console...

Between a pair of confederate flags reads "My Dixie Wreck" on my '77 Bayliner. It's fun to hear people question it back to themselves and then realize what they just said.

When we got our Playcraft pontoon I told the wife I was going to name it

"My Wife's Dinghy"

She said that was fine, as long as she got to the name my fishing boat. Some how I knew she'd get even, so right now I've got two boats without names.

Finally named my boat tonight. I'll have it professionally done to match the Lund lettering style on the side of the boat, if I'm still happy with the name down the road. For now, I slapped on some letters from some registration sheets I had.

Don't know if I already read this name in past threads . . .

But I also liked the name "SMELLS LIKE FISH" that I read in this thread. But then my Wife would never step foot on the boat again, hahahaha

Since I'm always the smallest boat pulling up to the docks at 14' 9" at the various restaurants we frequent, I figured the boat's name needed to also make a statement

When I was a kid before my dad died, he had a fishing club of old guys. when they got together and actually got a boat, they named her OLD HOOKERS...

My first boat was named "O' Sh*t" by the previous owner. It became a very fitting name for us aswell the first time we had to pull it two miles back to the launch

My other boat doesn't have a name yet, hoping she'll end up with a better name

The people that bought my last boat told me their story:

They kept their ugly 60's Sears 14 footer on the side of their house, in plain view. Neighbors couldn't sell their house, and blamed it on that ugly boat. Months passed, and one night around 2AM they hear something outside. Go out, and their boat's in flames! The whole thing burned, including all their fishing gear.

They got $500 from insurance, bought my ugly '75 15' runabout, parked it in the same spot, and painted the sides in big letters "UP YOURS."

I'm still undecided on naming our boat. "Plumley" is our family name. I'm thinking "P in the Lake" or "P in the Water" across the back. Kinda cheesy though.

Before I purchased me new Sea Pro, my buddy wanted to go into a partnership on the boat (go half & half on purchase). He also wanted rights to name the boat. I asked him what he wanted to name it and said "Since I have stomach problems I wanted to name it THE ****Z" I told him what a duschbag he was and to go buy his own boat lol.

If I ever purchase a new boat I'll wait to name her until she's been out on the water and shown me her disposition. My 20' Four Winns 200 Horizon has the poetic name "Shameless". As this is a boat of the nineties, I assume the previous owner was a Garth Brooks fan. When Shameless is being towed back to the dock or hauled to/from the lake by my little Subaru Outback I imagine onlookers get a kick out of the name.

Off topic, but a similar situation
Quite a few years back a guy applied for and was granted vanity tags here in Jersey
The tags read "NONE"
Apparently he was unaware that 95% of the vehicles abandoned have no tags and when cops fill out the summons for these vehicles, in the tag block they write "NONE"
Guess who received almost 3,000 summons in the first month after receiving his tags?
The tags were turned in and are no longer available in this state

Mine is a 1976 Sea Ray SRV 190 so I thought of a Stevie ray Vaughn song...named it Double Trouble because of all the money I want to put into it and how much time I want to spend in it!

need help guys... newly single and i love my boat, just got her repainted and will hit the water in a week or so... need to name her. since im single and lookin, not to mention A Guy? i want to name my boat something sexy/provocative or just plain horny and rude... got any suggestions? here are a few im leaning towards. ill post the top five or so on here in a few days and you all will decide what the name will be. I have a 22' cruiser
