Re: Boat Names

Too bad it wasn't that aluminum boat you were trying to name... I would have suggested "Full Metal Jacket" :D

For the starcraft, what about "Red, White and Blue"

SgtMaj

I like "Full metal jacket" might be better then "leaky Rivets" even though is has some, I figured there would come a time when I'll pull the floor and fix the rivets, but in the mean time, I can live with a little leak ....how about "little leaker"

Re: Boat Names

I worked in a sporting good/boat dealership about 20-25 years ago when I was in high school/college. We had a female couple buy a Sea Ray from us. They picked out a name and had it painted on the boat. I looked at it and at first and didn't think much about it. Then the lightbulb went on........ They named it "Lickity Split".

My '73 MFG runabout is called H.M.S. Bass Turd. Told my friend he should name his 18'6" Key West CC Pook's Yacht. He calls his wife Pookie. He didn't think his father-in-law would go for it though.

Re: Boat Names

I have a 14 ft starcraft that i'm putting a 20hp Merc on and before i had a 5.5hp on it and i'd usually putts around during the summer while casting a line every now and then anyway since the boat is aluminum it gets pretty hot and since my name is Daniel and i'm putting a big motor on it so it will go fast I came up with the perfect solution.

Dramamine Dragon from the Walt Disney movie the Boatnicks. A classic movie and constant reminder, of how fast the unexpected can happen.
