Got you covered there. My digital camera (and many others) take video and you can upload it to photobucket same as you do pictures and you can link to it from CL.

oh ... didnt realize that. we have 2 kodaks, ours and our daughter has one and they both do video but i have no clue how to upload right into photobucket without first going throught the kodak program ..

When connected to the computer it should see the camera as a drive and you'll have a video file on there. It's quite easy.

Man..Just drove 450 miles round trip and all I have to look fwd to is iboats..lol..kiddin

when you plug in a USB device..camera, new fangled fancy phone..printer...whatever it is...

The computer recognizes data files on the camera...

Your puter is the "C" drive...

Plug in the camera, and if a window doesnt automatically POP up saying..
WINDOWS HAS DETECTED A REMOVABLE DEVICE, WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO DO?

Then go to "START...MY COMPUTER"

You will see a list, with "C" your hard drive, "D" which is the CD ROM..and the new device which will be "E" Kodak easyshare blah blah

Double click on the "E" Kodak..and all the file (also known as pics) will be there..

Save wat you want to YOUR "C" DRIVE, make a new folder labeled "BOAT PICS" or "THANKS KEV" or whatnot...


If you like ALL the pics..hold "ctrl" button down and press the "A" key

You copied all pics

Go to your new folder, or where ever you want to put your pics..and hold "CTRL" again, but this time press the "V"..you just put all the pics into that file from your puter..



NOW
Go to photobucket account..select UPLOAD pics "FROM COMPUTER"


Go to that secret "THANKS KEV" folder or wherever you put the pics..

Open it up, select the pics you wanna upload..if you want the all. do the "CTRL" then press "A" again

im gonna need to find a wiring guru at some point. someone that understands marine wiring, undersands the use of proper heat shrink, connectors, fuse and grounding blocks etc .. im also thinking about doing a 2 batt set up so ill need the batt switch and all that kinda stuff hooked up aswell.

we got a bunch of them guys over in the electronics forum

lol ...i may just name the folder that. a 450 mile round trip huh .... were you boat shopping/buying ?? and the iboats thing is extremely addictive both the forum and the store. i was on earlier and no one else was on and i was starting to think everyone abandoned ship ..lol oh well, once i figure out where im gonna work on the boat i guess she will take up more of my time than iboats LOL

rick ... something always comes up when i want to start my resto thread ... just like now, im headed out to get pics of the new trailer, clean the shed and organize the new tool box i bought today. i PROMISE ..ill get one started. just not enough time in a day .. im sure you know what thats like. lol and when i do get time to do it i end up chatting with you guys and the thread doesnt get started lol. oh well .... ill catch up with you later this eve. lol
