I removed the rubber trim this is not the seal, it's just a rubber trim piece for looks if it was chrome it might look good but I'm not gonna go through trying to find silver paint that looks good and sticks to rubber/plastic

Thought about it but decided I like it without it at all and don't need to worry about it yellowing over time with silvers, keeping it around though i

I had alot of wiring to do on my turtle boat so I bout quite a few tools for that and assorted lugs.
Always seems like the last one you need is missing and holds you up. The copper is a great idea Mick. I know you like making your own do-hickeys.

Well I can't believe I got it but got all my wires and stuff into the outboard... this outboard didn't have a grommet for rigging so I kindaa one :) using a rigid. Vac hose connector since it has a swivel , hardest part was getting everything through it but I did :) the number 1 wires going to starter and ground were a bear to get thru but I feel confident since it's no 1 gauge wire all the way to batteries should handle amperage np

I haven't ran this engine in about 2 yrs so I'm thinking about pulling plugs cranking it and spraying some pb blaster in each cylinder just to make sure it's all lubricated before firing it up , not a outboard guru but figured it couldn't hurt
