I scoured the web but couldn't find a connection for for this model and year , I assume they never made one back then just that wrap people used to use
Omg could not find why I had no power from engine, the trim anything to helm and control box were dead spent hours and was clueless till I found this red wire with a 30 amp fuse that had a bullet connector on it but couldn't figure out where other end was so I took and put a connector on it and bam power throughout!
So I go out Tonite and had put the 2 stroke external tank in boat and filled up , sigh all the oil is in bilge, guess has a leak someplace , welp I'll figure that out after I go out and collect all the contaminated oil in a bucket so I don't get it all over soil
Seems like mos. of rain here, always wet, wet, wet. Should start to clear by next week and a little warmer. Even the boat tarp is turning green. I'll have to do that before it gets too cold.
Cheers!
Well crisis everted, no holes guess when I turned key on it was trying to fill engine reservior that i hadn't hooked it to yet so it emptied it , no matter gave me reason to clean up reservior and clean out , the left over oil I ran through a coffee filter to be sure it was clean, it was .
So anyone that has worked on these Yamaha , why the heck would they bring gas line into engine same way the fuel pumps are facing so you have to put a loop into fuel line to go back into it, I've made a brass piece to bring fuel back correctly to keep line from possibly collapsing pic when it stops raining
