Re: Any pilots that actually KNOW?

There is no way that is even possible. If our satellites could find the wreckage, there would be no need to say how easily we saw it...just that we saw it.

I designed portions of a SAR(Synthetic Aperture Radar) system for submarine detection. I have no idea how well it worked because we weren't allowed to see how well it worked.

Bruceb58, I honestly understand what YOU are saying! But I also know what I was working on and programming for and its capabilities and I seriously can't go into it much more then that. I do know what some of our capabilities are and I'll just leave it at that. But I stick to my previous statements and believes... And I absolutely am not saying you are wrong or trying to start an argument either. :)

I am saying on moral grounds alone that if we saw something we would report it. We have a lot of assets searching for this plane. Seems highly suspect to think we would be doing this if we already knew where it was.

My final words on this subject...YOU would be absolutely unbelievably amazed!

I would be amazed if we found the wreckage and didn't report it.

Re: Any pilots that actually KNOW?

That TWA crash, a 737 "burn-up" on the ramp and other center fuel tank explosions resulted in Boeing generating a bulletin (and the FAA generating an Airworthiness Directive [AD]) concerning center-(fuel)tank pump operation.

The message concerns allowing center-tank fuel pumps to continue to operate after the fuel tank is empty.

Seems the fuel pumps,if allowed to operate "dry", causes them to get REALLY HOT and then ignite fuel vapors in the tank. (causing a "Kaboom")

It's happened to more than one aircraft on the ground.

Boeing subsequently has redesigned the center fuel pump control system so that they automatically shut-OFF after the fuel low pressure lights illuminate for a specified length of time.......

Maybe aliens control those vapors.....(or the sparks).......... Or it could still be a conspiracy. I'm a bit skeptical of missiles from a single video. Videos can easily be faked...........

Cheers,

Rick

NGS systems are also added. They are Nitrogen Generation Systems. I have installed them in wings (fuel tanks) to reduce the chance of ignition. FYI
Aliens dont understand NGS, Im sure, so we are good to go....

Yeah......NGS installed in airplanes with fuel pumps that can get so HOT that they cause a Kaboom!

The "other airplane" I used to fly (McDonnell Douglas C-17B) had an NGS. But it was to prevent a fuel tank blow up if the "bad guys were lucky enough to put a tracer through a fuel tank. It was not for fuel systems that had fuel pumps that would cause "blow-ups"

If I was designing a fuel system, I might make it so the fuel pumps don't get so hot (like Lockheed, McDonnell Douglas, Airbus(sic), and others did) Instead of adding another complex system...........

We really are doomed if anyone thinks the government cares at all about you or me or moral standards.

That plane is in a hangar somewhere, crew and passengers probably dead, being loaded with a dirty bomb, or possibly nerve gas, perhaps even a biological.

Re: Any pilots that actually KNOW?

until the plane is found, its all speculation

could the pilot/co-pilot have diverted the plane
could there have been a hostage situation
could there have been aliens
could there have been an explosion due to the large amount of Lithium Ion batteries being transported
could there have been a shoot down

is the plane in tact or broken into pieces?
is the plane on the ground or bottom of the ocean

Im going to go with a trifecta - malicious intent by crew and someone else coupled with an explosion in the cargo bay from a bad batch of Lithium batteries (like the one in my phone that melted it) taking out ACARS and the transponder and keeping the plane running on AIMS backup while the fire and deadly smoke fill the plane. basically a ghost plane until the fuel runs out, then it takes a hard dive port or starboard (depending on which engine dies first) and splat.

Further we get away from the last contact, the harder it's going to be to ever get an answer.

Newsies have been making hay from the whole thing on a 7/24 basis (which has amazed me) and finally started talking about worm holes, black holes and inter-dimensional shifts. :suspicious:

Or it's at the bottom of the ocean "somewhere". There's not really any evidence either way. It's really sort of useless to speculate too.....

Re: Any pilots that actually KNOW?

No matter what is the reality I always feel sick when one of our planes goes down with lives. Any plane for that matter...
Years ago I worked at a company that built small aircrafts. When we had our first fatal incident we (the Mfg. crew) were all in a daze for a while.
I dont like the media`s sensationalism overshadowing the tragety with whodunnit articles. Just my opinion...

If the MSM would just report hard facts they wouldn't have to report 24/7 on it!! All the theories, speculation, "experts" and crystal balls is just useless drivel!!

Well, at the end of it - THIS was the most likely outcome. Not that we haven't all along, but condolences to the families and friends of those lost.

Re: Any pilots that actually KNOW?

There are apparently still a bunch of conspiracy wack jobs out there that still think it landed and is in a hangar somewhere. Gotta love the comments at the bottom of some of these articles.

Would to agree with me at this point that there's plenty of people that KNOW where that plane is, but are remaining tight lipped about it?

... it certainly was plausible that it was on the ground somewhere. And there are some groups I can think of who would have benefitted greatly from pulling something like that off. I was in the "it's possible" camp for a long time.

But the data of the last few days pretty much closes the lid on that. Looks much more like she went in.

I would not agree at all, where did you come up with this?

I love sci fi theories, makes for good TV in the future...
