Cuz' I sure do feel like it.

Got the head job done, everything serviced, everything adjusted, tuned, new fuel tank, new impeller, new prop, then decided to re-carpet. find soft spot. start ripping out. now I'm all the way to the transom, and it's rotted too.
I feel sick about this now.

We just picked up a '99 226 LXI.

I call this "Tail Wagging Dog" Amazingly, the drive was pretty good...no real wagging and the Jeep pulled it like a champ. We stopped at Lowes to pickup some safety straps for the transom and the winch so disregard the shoddy ties.

I have been looking for a pic. of this boat ours was a 68-72 I/O . was white with blue stripe down side. my dad is giving to me to fix. it has been sitting up for 10 years...first family boat eager to get to it...

I rescued this poor old girl about 2 years ago.. she's a 1968 Larson 186 All American.

She had sat in someones yard for over 15 years not touched and they were getting ready to bulldose the house for a new housing development. I still have a few outdrive problems to solve with her and I'm still learning about working on these things, but, maybe this year, I'll get her mechanically 100%. (we are at about 90% right now... If I could just get the shifting working correctly... LOL).

I wish I could have restored the interior to original condition, but, that was just a bit beyond my means, so she's carpeted now, but, the seats are still the original ones... after I rebuilt them.

Here is my 2003 23' LXI 5.0MPI. Early morning on Grand Lake in Oklahoma, ready to go fishing. Added a flex step to my trailer after falling in the lake trying to climb over the bow.

About 2 months ago I purchased this 1996 Larson Flyer 166. It is a beautiful boat. I had it on the water once but it needed a few minor repairs. I am really looking forward to getting it on the water again. This boat has a Johnson V4 112hp outboard.
