....the libs said that AA was doing just fine? Well IMHO, it was just about the same as the credibility of everything else they say.

I hope a lot of Libs lost a ton of money trying to support a bankrupt (pun intended) platform.

I wonder if they listed the boys club or whatever it was that they stole money from as a creditor :)

Yeah that is too bad. I guess it shows that people on the left are smart enough to think for themselves, unlike the sheeple who flock to the radio/faux news on the right. The fact that right wing radio/tv does so well only reaffirms my belief about republicans.

Not all republicans are stupid, but most stupid people are republican.

Yeah, nice spin Mr. BS (sorry, too easy) . . .

I don't know about the rest of you, but I have actually listened. I'm thinking it's goin' down because it is just plain bad radio . Very juvenile, nothing but name calling and bizarre conclusions not supported by facts; non-sequitur BS. The networks buzz phrase stuff is often vulgar, and I'm no prude, it is just tasteless.

I am only too happy that those whacko pseudo politicians are bankrupt.It is bad enough that some warped mind spouts stupidity every day and calls it conservatism.Nobody needs another warped mind that spouts stupidity and calls it liberal.
Like Mrbscott19,I do believe that intelligent people have no use for polical propaganda taken to the lowest level of idiocy.

It's as I have said many times before QC. They cannot talk about their true agenda. It is too scary. So, the only thing that is left for them to fill up the airways with is what you described.

NAMBLA are good people, Nancy Pelosi marched in a parade with them.

Air America was doomed to failure before the first broadcast. No talent, no real finance, and a lowsy business plan. Such a shame, there is a market for them. Others sad attempt to portray themselves as "smarter" is typical. Meanwhile several months ago we heard from those on the left about the growth of left wing radio. Hey, you all should work on your message!! Don't worry, soon they will call this failure a sucess. True to form. :}

The "diversity" of this country allows for this format to work. Get on air talent with TALENT not name recognition and set up a series of local test markets, but all those "smart" liberals who love Howard Stern, now say the format won't work. All those "smart" liberals love Oprah.

What kind of person claims a poorly designed, executed, and staffed business plan failed because they were too "smart". Never blame the product, blame the consumer?

Well said, Rolmops.

Real progressives are concerned with what is good for the country, and these propagandists of either side are concerned with what is good for their idealogy, as well as their bank account of course

Call it spin if you want, I call it an opinion. I've never listened and have no desire to. Nor have I ever listened to Rush but I do know that he is no saint either in terms of some of the things he says on the radio. Not trying to defend AAR because it is trash just like Rush. Some people are just smart enough not to listen......others flock like sheep. And that goes for both sides.
