Ok, I know that we have discussed the spray in great foam many times in this forum, many ask, can I use it instead of the mix and pour stuff???
I am hear to tell you, NO, NO, and if you even think about it, you should go see a head Doctor!
I am presently restoring a beautiful little 1956 Glaspar Sport Lido, nice lines, great balance, just a nice little run about.. I was not afraid, it needed a new floor, which is no big deal...after a little more work this evening, I found out why, despite its weather proofing abilities, it is also a "Great Sponge" It will absorb ever single rain drop that makes it through that little tiny pin hole in your deck!
So, despite the many, many times it has been posted on this as well as other forums, please don't think we are joking, this stuff is a joke, I just ripped out about a 1 foot square that was 6 inches thick that was real heavy, so I decided to weigh it, it weighed in at over 24 pounds, and will probably drip water long after I have left this world!
Don't do it, it may be cheap, but you are really going to pay for it in a couple of years!
Now, if you decide to use it, don't ever say you were not warned.
Man, I am glad I am going fly fishing this weekend!
