The green stuff looks just like marine bondo and I agree with alldodge.

Looking at the photo Alldodge calls out, I don't think I would have cobbled something over that. To me, that looks severely compromised and it'd be removed further....probably all has to go.

Might just be the camera playing tricks but that doesn't look like it came out level, it looks like its a bit thinner towards the center of the keyhole.

If I were me, I would have hit the dark areas with bleach (or something to prevent rot) and then let it dry out. Sort of a judgement call as to what can and cannot be done.

I believe the OP had a shop do the repair, so there is some experience to be trusted perhaps?
