Hey Rick, yea when the rivercats first came to sac i thought it was going to be kinda like a prelude or test to eventually bring a major leaugue team. A while back I heard rumors of the A's coming to sac. Some people say that raley field could be a major leauge stadium if they just added more seats. It was exciting. We have a new basketball arena being built just blocks from the capitol, i think kevin johnson (retired nba player/mayor) helped that happen. Alot of changes and expansion going on around the capitol, some parts you may not even recognize :joyous: but its all good changes

Who needs a major league team when ya gots the RiverCats? They play great baseball and don't cost nearly as much moola to catch a sunday afternooner.

I'll be driving with my son through Sac in July. Going to drag the boat out from Idaho, see my parents in San Jose area, then go drop the boat into Monterey Bay and catch some rock fish and ling cod. I'll get a look at town when we run through.

Trailer is apart, stripping it piece by piece. Every place that had brown discoloration of any kind got took down to metal. I left as much paint as I could.

I used the actual paint to see what my color scheme would look like. To date this is the plan unless something changes. The trailer will be that dark gray that's on the bottom of the boat. Im a lil nervous about having a color change below the water line... if that makes since.. maybe i should say, where two colors meet below the water line...

Ive been meaning to ask Woody about color overlapping and clear coat with the tractor paint.

Yes, but...not on a boat. Cars and trucks. Using a clear coat is a PITA if and when you need to do spot repairs. IMHO Boats don't need it unless it's Clear Gelcoat as is used on Metal Flake boats. Not saying you can't and on the bottom of the boat might be ok since only the fish see it. I'd prolly just shoot an extra coat or 2 of paint and call it good. I'm NOT a total Paint Expert just passing on what I've done and experienced.

I don't know man, you set the bar pretty high with the glastron, I'll do my best to make you proud!

That Bimini top with the white rally stripe is sweet, you got me thinking about getting one.
