The cabinet looks great. Very professional.. Didn't see the pocket holes that you used on the door frames in the earlier pics..
They make for some strong joints.. Great job..:high5:

Alrighty then. For High Cabinets I like using French Cleats Makes em easy to hang when they're up high.

I used my dead arms...lol

I wanted to put a cleat up, but was thinking outside the box...didn't have enough room...this morning I started thinking inside the box..put a couple short blocks on the wall just about 1/8" lower than I thought they would end up...sat the cabinet up and little push to get it lined up with ceiling..sank the screws...all good now!

French cleat:

You just have to leave enough room above the wall mounted cleat to allow you to lift the cabinet up & let it's cleat slip down onto the wall mounted cleat.

A 1X ripped in half w/ the angle on the newly rehab'd table saw gives you a matched set of cleats.

You also have to use a similar thickness 'cleat' along the bottom of the cabs to get them to hang plumb....

It's a GREAT to hang cabs, esp solo, and also leaves a little space behind the cabs to run undercab light wiring, etc.

If upper clearance is an issue, sliding the cabinets from the side onto the cleats works well too?!

Looks great Troop!

yep as long as the ceilings flat the wallis flat and there's no obstructions like window trim or an inside corner
you still wanna little wiggle room but an eighth of an inch plus or minus

Bit of a slope in the ceiling...but I figured there would be some...

Second one is up, I put about a rack and a half worth in this one, first one is still empty :(
