Thanks Decker...appreciate it

Looks like an aggressive blade Wood...will look into it

GT..I made a few sticks....and alot of wood dust to mix with the gel dust.....

Which made me get into a cleaning mood tonight...cleanded the inside of the boat, then started tackling the gel dust...this stuff is everywhere!

Gonna take awhile to get it all....

ok, been all over the playing field today...did a little sanding on the deck and cap...which got me thinking, let's see if I can do a small layup with the heat ~60F in the garage..worked fine...little more sanding...now supper is ready...gonna go eat...maybe some more later...we'll see....

Uh oh, boat work has begun again  Enjoy dinner.

Don't forget you can 'heat' the boat hull via a halogen lamp or 3 and get plenty of warmth when you're down near 60* :)

Re: '78 Ebko Lebaron - Therapy

started out Friday evening cutting some sticks...Saturday decided to make jig to do miter cuts....that turned into making some tenons...before I knew I had these built...

Gonna let the admiral decide if she wants to stain or paint them...

Boat work coming soon...

Swing by anytime after midday tomorrow.... Ordered 1, ready for pickup Mon am. Feel free to use it any time you like. Ordered it w/ both fixed base & plunge base & 1 router bit: 3/8" roundover. Whole set is on order too, just hasn't arrived yet....

It is however on an electronic tracking leash, so no leaving the state.......:D

Re: '78 Ebko Lebaron - Therapy

Lowe's, since I won't be using it all day every day, ever again, I went w/ a Skil combo, $109, site to store.

Skil 2.25-HP Variable Speed Plunge Corded Router
Item #: 337922 | Model #: 1830

HomeDepot has a plenty good enough set for $59 w/ pretty much every bit I'll ever need. Same price for the router, but slower ship to store, and didn't offer the 2yr warranty online. Probably could have found it, but it wasn't going to be as quick to me, so Lowe's got the router purchase..............

In my previous work life, I'd have gone w/ a PorterCable/Dewalt router combo $2-300, and better bits, but these will serve me well for what I will use them for............. And I won't be overly concerned if I let one of my students use either during my class next semester's.

These were both an early xmas gift to myself, I have a $50 refund check in hand, and a $40 reimbursement check coming Tues, which is about half of what it cost.
