I'm getting close to splash day! I have to get the motor back on and the seats in then I'm ready. I just had a minor hand surgery so slow going now but I'm hoping to test her out by the beginning of June. Here are a few pics. I decided to go with carpeted wood to hide the battery and tank verses the flap style. I think it worked out well.

Man she's looking good. :D

I like the finished look that gives to the back of the boat those curtains always looked like such an after thought. The only thing the curtains did allow well is ventilation so if you haven't you may want to consider some scoops to allow it to breath. Perhaps up on the gunwhales in the back corners.

Thanks! it kind of hard to see in the picture but there is about a 2-3" gap on each side at the gunwhales. Hopefully that is sufficient but if not I will look to add ventilation.

Well splash day came this past weekend!! I am happy to say that I did not sink and everything seemed to go well. The biggest issue I had was my reverse lock didn't seem to work so I'll have to look into that. Apart from that issue things went smoothly. Now i'm trying to decide on a name and if I need a fish finder or depth sounder. I dont normally fish but would like to have an idea of depth (will almost always be on a inland lake). Thanks to everyone who helped me along the way!! It was a lot of work but infidelity worth it. Here is a couple of pics...(im the guy in the green)

Glad it went well :joyous:

Hopefully the rev lock is just something gummed up simple and just remember to seal those transducer holes. :D
