If you're on that puller with an impact wrench it's hard to imagine the flywheel not coming off. Are you going to easy on 'er?

Pb is way better than wd for penetrating, better still is Kroil.

Maybe…Let me go harder on it. If I still can’t pop it off, I will try wilt Kroil. Thanks !

Lotions a potions do not help. ----A bump with a hefty hammer is needed.----Or tighten the three screws a bit more till it pops.-----The locking tapers are holding it.

Well, stupid question again. Should I remove intake manifold anyway to open up the crank case? If so, do I need to take out these two bolts ? They are pretty stubborn and I don’t want to mess with them if possible.

I'd say it looks like they are used to hold that intake on. But I can't really tell from the picture and I don't have real world experience taking that off and that engine. My gut and looking at it is I would say yes they need to come out. You can use a hand impact screwdriver if your or your buddy has one.

Never mind. I took it off. I think all the bolts to open up crankcase are loose now. Tomorrow, let me post some pictures of pistons, etc.

Took me a few hours to take the crank case off because “pin” was kind of stuck… Anyway, the case is off now. Any socket that I borrowed from my colleague didn’t fit to remove this rod cap bolt. Would you let me know what socket I should buy? It seems thin wall 5/16 12 point, but would like to confirm from experienced people in this forum !

The alignment pin is tapered and must be driven out in the direction that the carburetors are.----Then the crankcase falls apart.----It was clearly posted earlier that you needed a 12 point thin wall 5/16" socket !!

My bad. I was too focused on how to remove flywheel nut with 1-5/16 socket at that time and it had to be thin wall socket…My apology and thank you again for reminding it.

Harbor Freight is your friend. You can buy whole sets of sockets or wrenches for what almost a single socket would cost on Amazon or at Lowe's or even the auto parts store.
