Really nice job John, attention to detail is awesome.
Just in case you missed it, you are the forth Canuck nominated for the SOTY award in the StarCraft section this year for your V5.

You Starkanadians have an unfair advantage!!! Long winters snow bound in your garageloos lead to turning derelict tin, often from the southern regions, into fabulous works of art. Far better than anything the Goshen, Indiana plant ever turned out. These words are from a jealous, envious admirer. Mad skillz, boys. :thumb: :D

^^^ Unkind, John, just unkind ^^^

The guys in Goshen are doing their current & future customers a great disservice if they aren't following the SC rebuilds here @iboats and taking copious notes.

You've still got until 1/5/14 to throw a bucket of water across the bow.......
thanks JB I don't think I'll be finished this year still have to:

put the motor on

the trolling motor

the bimini top

and maybe a few minor things.
^^^ seems like a short list.......

I also thought it was kinda cruel too, JB. But then, consider the source - Even their thermometers are off. According to them water boils at 100?.

Not to disregard your guidons at all cause they look nice. But now I have a better understanding of why you wont be doing much exterior hull paintwork. From the pics, she's pretty darn shiny right now. Nice graphics in the paintwork too.
And oh yeah, did you really mean -27. Cause if you did, holy garbage, that's some cold stuff there man. We've been around 0-9 in the dark and a bit warmer with the sun up. And that's face and finger burning cold to me.
I do have to say that it's just about time to get out for some ice fishing though and that makes me happy. I just don't know how much of it I will be doing this winter with my resto and all.

Hey Jason, yes the exterior is in pretty good condition I will probably do a few touch ups but that's all, the temperature here is in celsius that is -27 equals 16.6 below in F still pretty cold for me, as for ice fishing I don't do much of that any more to cold for me, love summers but we have a ways to go till that happens, just wish we had 4 months of winter and 8 months of summer.

Got my rod holders done, nothing worse than fishing rods lying around when you're moving from one spot to another, trying to decide where to mount them, I like them in front of the rear casting deck but not sure if they will interfere with my bimini top and they probably will, so most likely will mount them at the rear.
