Just found your post today and read through from the beginning. Looks like you did a fantastic job on the entire thing! Any updates?

Gel coat....

Looks like I'm on to engine reassembly and interior next. Atleast those can be done in the winter!

Am I missing something or am I being blinded by that gell coat.

Are the steering arm clearances cut out?

Yes steering clearances are cut out. No update since last fall.. All my cash has been going towards my wedding coming up. I'm painting all the gimbal parts to begin reassembly in the next few weeks.

Whew... I must say when I started all this I never expected it to be this long before it was getting close to being done. But finally I am about to get there. After a few gasket changes the engine should be dropped in this weekend. Gimbal housing is fully rebuilt.. Bucket seats are in. Trim pump.. Bilge pump are in. But here are a few pics from along the way. Springfield seat pedestals.. Had to search a while to find ones this short! Got bored and stuck the Bimini on that I've never used.
