I am real close Micky, I live in Lake Mary. Sam knows where I live, he bought the Tee Nee trailer from me. I originally got into boat restoration with a '58 Cruiser's Inc lapstrake that ended up having too much rot to be worth saving. That is where the trailer and my '71 Evinrude 50hp lark came from. This addiction for me started 6 years ago and I still have yet to get on the water!

Well it sure looks that way but I hope it is the other way around someday. At least with the lapstrake I hadn't put a ton of money into it when I realized it was too far gone...I had spent time on it over 4 years but not money, getting things lined up to do the restoration after I stripped the whole hull. One of the reasons I bought the lapstrake was that it was on a Tee Nee and the guy didn't know what it was. His family had bought it at an estate sale and then let it sit uncovered in GA for a year. There was actually a carpenter ant farm in the inner keel that I discovered after I got it home. All the way home I was wondering what the hell I was getting myself into and still trying to figure that out six years later. Hope to meet you in person someday, let me know if you are ever down this way.

its been raining.....dang Florida humidity!

its not rain, its your body is below the dew point so water is condensing on you.

had to make a make-shift cover for the open cuddy hatch last night in the "humidity"

All I know is we are at the point where 2 things are happening. One a check on the boathouse to see if the snow and ice needs knocked off. And before I go anywhere I got to look and see if I need a 4wd or I can use the van that is in the heated toasty garage.

Snow isn't bad van has posi. But ice posi and admiral is not a good combination. Just take a vehicle that goes in a straight line when it takes off. All that sideways is great for me and my son. But when the admiral goes into the sock puppet routine just shoot me now.

I had the Micky selfie going on before I pulled the engine. That was the boating season is over selfie. Heck one more month and it is the winter soltice and it gets warmer.
