Mick,
Learned something last night on the animal kingdom channel. Did you know the animal "SLOTH" does not fart?
Heck of an interesting segment.

saddest thing is one of the species of sloth the smallest one , there is only 100 or so left in the wild .

think my springs are good or ? they seem good to me no separation just a lil surface rust, was going to dunk them in phosphate and protect them , same thing with brake hubs if innards are good if not ill replace all 4 of those with new hydraulics , not wanting to chance electric brakes in saltwater. Tomorrow i strip trailer and start figuring out how many bolts to replace and other items :)

every bolt taken off trailer, its in pieces , cant decide paint first then re bolt up or re bolt frame then paint to seal bolts , think it would look more professional bolted after but ... gah decisions.

Decisions decisions. The only bolts that got painted on mine were ones that would be hard or very expensive to replace, so those got painted pre-assembly. The rest are au naturale

No rest for the wicked :), Believe it or not Diane had me do floods around the perimeter of the back 40 so the beagles had light , i was just a collateral winner in that, I know the pecking order around here :)

almost time for rebuild , everything is coated with bed-liner material, i went that route because i found out alkyd paint is not good for galvanized it creates some chemical reaction so i did a primer coat with 2k urethane and did the black bed-liner
i will color match fenders to boat :)
ordered new complete brake parts, figured start fresh :) from surge coupler to hubs.

Did you use any kind of etching or prep formula on the galvanized steel? I was kinda freaked out to paint my trailer cuz I've heard mixed results aaaand the only sure fire method was some sherwin Williams industrial grade chemical etch and elbow grease.

seemed like more than I felt like tackling... at least this year.
