I still dont understand why folks think running a engine without a thermostat is a wize choice...
Cuz they are negligent to how a motor actually operates. There are actually ENGINEERS who figure out the optimum thermal efficiency of a motor and then specify what the ideal operating temperature would be (thermostat temp rating). Then those people make that decision for 2 reasons... They figure the colder it runs the better! OR... it was overheating and they thought the correct solution was to not figure out why but remove the thermostat.
Hoping for you that you had the first case and not the second. I'd keep an eye on your temp gauge at first to make sure you don't have clogged up manifolds/risers.
