Soooo why wouldn't you paint the bilge? HA HA at ya Chev.
I'm gonna need you and Mick to come over and electrify my boat and make my engine run.

I dunno. I would love to get your motor going. But you live as far away as possible LOL.

not the year for restorations! this rain is just evil! lol

LOL I can't take mine out because of the rain. First it is the 32 degrees and glass. Now it is the T Storms. Had no rain for a month till it was ready then POOF nothing but rain.

I got the tailgate and quarter ready to spray on the truck Same story got to be dry at least long enough to get it on and the paint to set.

It is that bilge paint I think.

so i went ahead and coated over the Raptor bed liner material i had used , its great product but had no sheen and made it hard to clean , so now its still the same texture but glossing because of the gloss coat of urethane:)

With all this talk of pink boats I'm reminded of "Operation Petticoat". I forgot how much I love that movie.

Have you thought about a name? I suggest "Sea Tiger".

Carry on!

i wont halfta do the 2 cause the name was removed from other one:) nah i was thinking "ill repute" since its technically a bayliner and we know how everyone loves bayliners:)

Thats why I decided to change my original though of flipping my project into keeping it. For 1, I have a hard time not being picky and meticulous and doing things right (expensive) and I also realized its probably going to be hard to get people to spend enough on a bayliner to get my money back.

Katarina Wye River.jpeg this was one of my dream boats as a teen so i knew going in i wasn't getting rid of it :)
3 boats were my favorites a Chesapeake deadrise around 35 ft with a 12 ft beam , cant get cause no rooom and slip would kill me, a chriscraft old wooden or just about any old wooden cabin cruiser... my war with carpenter bees still continues and is fresh in my mind.
that leaves the good ole Tahiti Caribbean Day Cruiser jetboat.. im too old for that lol i need shade:)

All beautiful boats there Mick! I like your thought pattern. I am loving the DE's I'll bet you'll get what you want sooner or later.
That Cheasapeake is slick. How do they hold up in 3-4 waves?
