Looks a bit more foreboding than the "ma deuce" I was contemplating

well i finished wet sanding and polishing other side, no wax on hull yet i figured i would let it gas out awhile before polishing once more and shining up with wax or poly polish I am thinking tomorrow i will rebuild gantry's and prep for recapping as the rest of the stuff i think i would be better served doing with it together to be sure i can get to it if i needed to instead of putting stuff on and recapping then realizing i cannot acess something.

luckily i knew engine was shot , i mainly wanted it for all accessory's and the outdrive and that stuff but wow that block has some rust in it , the valve cover's had rotted through and i guess just let moisture in after that

A little naval jelly and elbow grease would get that motor shined up in no time - never mind the pits

Hey chevy, i painted my Bilge today :) no pics it was so bright the camera kept screwing up with the glare i will try to get some after sun goes down :) I think I am going to try to put all the things i can into hull before i cap to save trips over the gunnel's lol
quick note after almost 6 months in weather i cut a hole through my plywood on hull where there had been standing water and the wood was 100% dry so lanco roof sealant has kept it waterproof and humidity proof .this isn't a area that gets walked on or ever seen its in the hull before top cap or i might have used a different product.
