Too much, would be funny in different circumstances. Not looking good for you guys. Hope you got gas and water before the crowds. I remeber Sandy up here a few years ago. I was not prepared. We had water and I play alot of softball so the cooler situation is superb. I had no gas. I figured I could get if I needed it. Boy was that a big mistake. I lost 11 trees which was the block average. We were cutting ourselves out for days. I did find that people in my town are pretty lazy. If I went out at 9 pm there was no one at the stations. Figured that out a few days later than I wished though. Good luck and keep yourself safe.

That would suck to do all that work and the neighbor next door doesn't care that his trees in the road. Some of those 60's babies seemed to have raise terrible children.

Mick, I hope you're spending the night in the boat. You might need it's floating capabilities!

Hope you guys do well.

Sounds like you're set. Nothing else you can do but pray and hope your neighbors are as helpful as mine were during the clean up. Four of us wondered the neiborhood cutting up all the fallen trees. We had so many that the block was a one lane road until the town came and picked up all the cut wood. The town would drive down our block like it was a amusement park wilderness drive. We had the worst tree fall rate in the town and they left us for last to pick up. It took them three days to clear our road when they finally came in between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Lots of angry calls to the town for that month and a half. Ice was the thing I found the hardest to get. We needed it to keep our food cold. On the third day my neighbor lent me a spare generator he had just bought and had shipped from California. He needed it for his business but as soon as he had it hooked up, his building power came on. I felt horrible for him, he bought 6 generators and had them next day shipped from all over the country, bought a big spool of wire and hooked them all up only to have the lights come on just before firing.

well we fared really well but I was prepared I had trimmed trees about 2 weeks before to get a head start on fall cutbacks so our yard was fine just a crap load of limbs from woods out back best invcestment I ever made was this tree

I was more impressed with boat, I never even worried about weather it could handle hurricane forced winds rofl! worst part was she took the pounding from stern so I really worried about the pilothouse roof being ripped right off after the cover went.
cypress tree leaning badly not 3 ft from it so I know it was getting hammered hate losing that tree too it was only ten yrs old so wasn't any taller then boat and had shed protecting it ...

ok so today was my donor " maybe" boat find dude got sick of boats and had a fire sale , sold me his regal with 2 engines and trailer for $$150 boat isn't in awful shape just about what you would expect for a 87, 1 engine looks like it will run was told it did and have no reason not to trust him, second engine looks like it may well run as well I will do compression checks on both , they are 120,s I had a 140 but not really pressed about 20 hp. here's thing if anyone wants this 19 ft regal before I take it to dump and you have some way of picking it up , pm me has a title, otherwise its headed to dump after I strip it .
btw looks like one outdrive got ran with a loose plug so the oil left upper case and roached it the gears look chewed up but the rest appears to be fine so its rebuildable , second lower unit seems fine as well as the rest of the back housing, trim rams all look good as well so I think I did pretty well .
