Scott what are you screwing the dura brite snapa into? Did you have to add a pc. of wood or material to secure to?

the ceiling / upper deck is cored with 1/2" of balsa with 3/16" of fiberglass on the top and almost an 1/8" of glass on the inside.

had some buds come over and help with a few things....

washed off the foredeck
washed out the cockpit
installed the remainder of the interior....

only the one cushion over the motor is currently the original. I have the new one, finishing that tonight.

Looking Good, Scott.

When you we get to see a 'splash' . . . it must be soon :) :thumb:

forgot to post these pics the other day.

installed the breathers. used an old hot-rodders trick. make a stand-off pipe and stuff it with fiberglass screen material (or brillo pads) the oil vapors collect on the screen to become droplets and run back down into the motor vs becoming droplets on the breathers and running down the outside onto the valve covers

and the drive prior to installation.

Going to try to wrap the boat up early this morning to take it with us camping, however realistically, may need to finish it Sunday when we get back.

Drive on....
props mounted.....

motor didnt want to start easy, no squirt from accelerator pump. sticking check valve in Accelerator pump circuit - fixed
need to re-mount the carb and check for fuel leaks

intermittent power to the trim pump, that is the next thing to trace down....

have a tick in one of the valve rockers, that is on the list......

the check valve in the bowl was stuck along with the check valve at the discharge

that is the car that hit us. the bumper on the truck is what got hit. I dont feel sorry for the guy, he got the ticket. My buddy works at a GM dealer, getting a new bumper at his cost.

the tick was adjusted with 1/8 turn of the adjustment nut on cylinders 4 and 5

PFD's and fenders already stowed
