I’ll pass on the sanding . My arms are still sore from the WM ... I’ll just stop by every now and then at least till the beer is gone ..🙂
You sure have your hands full with all that gellcoat ..

Well, I subscribed and will be following you. I looked for awhile to find you in the forums with no luck. I can't find owners groups. Maybe I'm not skilled enough to roam through iboats forum structure.

I simply watch the postings for the day - tab next to new topics just under the forum header

Checking in . . . looks like a lot of work with the gelcoat & color scheme, but the boat should be a real head-turner. :thumb:

A bit of work on the boat this week. recovering from a nasty sinus infection that took me down for a week

have the hatch cover blasted and waiting for primer

picking up gauges today from VeeThree factory

started by adding the glow-in-dark paint to the dash. may need to us a UV diode to keep it going, however the stuff works ok.

Bit of update on the dash. Awaiting my switches to start wiring.

however the gauges are in.

a bit of trimming some fiberglass for the new layout will be required

It is interesting that the rocker switches are facing upwards (if I am seeing it correctly). Is water penetration a concern, or are they IP68 ?

Is it stainless 316? Looking nice. You live in saltwater areas, correct? I have a new one made as well but I only got my hands on 304. But I'm in freshwater only

carling switches are water proof (IP 67). IP68 is for submersion beyond 3 meters. worst case, I spend another $6 for the switch.

however sitting on top is fine for the application. the surface is sloped at 15 degrees

The original carling toggle switches worked for over 30 years until the plastic bodies started breaking where the halves are snapped together.

Bit of progress and setback. the turbo in the daily driver took a dump, so I spent some time yanking that. getting it rebuilt with a larger compressor wheel and updated bearings (multiple bearings vs a single 2-row)
