I did notice the girls on the beach staring at my DECK! :D

1: Cut a hole in a box,
2: Put your DECK in that box,
3: Make her open the box...
and that's the way you do it!

Now we're talkin' on the premanent shelter. Want me to send up some of our wild A-mish for that part of the build? :D

No need JC, we got plenty of amish nearby, buggies and all lol, in fact, they built some of these barns.

I did notice one cheating a while back, he seemed to rig a riding mower deck and B&S engine together to cut a field, but stood on top of the deck, and pulled it with a horse ....One day ill wrap my mind around that image hehe

Im not framing this Arch, my helper is..Mondays we're not down south working on the house, so its kinda busy work, I do my inspections to make a living when im here....But he knows I will pick up the level to check. so its all plumb, tee pees, string and all, lol. Weve framed alot of structures together over the years tho, so i know its all good :)

I will beat the weather this winter!

Don't forget to leave one end open...;)

Its temporary, it will come down before the boat is mostly finished NM, I was gonna try to put doors on the bow end, but i would need a large clearspan header to allow a trailer to pick it up, with its wide beam, so im leaning on just dissassembling it after paint...plus with the winshield and enclosure, it wont have the clearance.......

Ill cut the poles at grade at the end, and just pull soil over them.

Its just a gable bubble, to get the greenhouse effect....the hoop couldnt quite hack it with all the snow and wind, sad to say.....it needed a ridge.

Welcome aboard by the way :)

Update:

well I finally got the remaining glass in the midship area done, capped the 2nd stringer with 2 layers of eglass, and a few tabs of 17oz to tie in the bulkhead ends...I have to pick up a course die grinder bit for the limber holes, and sand down some nibs.

Just needs some epoxy paint, the brackets for the water tank, and a little plumbing, then this deck section goes back in.

Today we're gonna try to finish the walls on the shelter and get ready to set the ridge beam ;)

You got about a week before the first snowfall, right? It's been getting mighty cool at night here. Gives you a little pep in your getalong.
