Thanks guys, guess I get inflated expectations..

Funny how the night before, after one glass of wine, you figure you could get alot done tomorrow, then half way thru, hell! ill get half the boat done...by the time the bottle goes dry, youre figuring it will be ready to jump the stream to Bimini!

Steady as she goes tho....

As long as theres sun, I get a good heat gain....the other morning it was cloudy, and it was about the same inside and out. Looks like a sunny weekend tho.

Im not sure what the min temp for epoxy cure is, but i notice when 1st mixing a batch from the cold shop, its kind of gelatin like...but thins out fine shortly after mixing....Ive seen opinions at 50 degrees and up..some say even colder. Im using USC 3:1 635...if i order another batch, I may try the faster cure.

Tonight were goin in the 20's :faint2:

I re-built Miss Morgan in a heated shop, but only heated it when I was working. I used to keep the resin in the house, which helped it fire off a lot quicker.....since epoxy takes a while I doubt it will help, but you might experiment. It might at-least make it easier to mix up.

Buy a Heating Pad and set the Resin and the Hardener on it with a blanket on top. of it it'll keep it warm and viscous. Heat Lamps of Halogens will help it Kick.

If you mean those seed starting pads, that would workgood too, and use minimal electric.....I have a reptile flourescent light/heat fixture (no I dont keep reptiles, the neighbor was tossing it lol)..I suppose I could rig something with that...

Update:

Got the starboard side deck brace clamped and ready to be glued/

I used the shelves as jigs to set the mini stringer location by screwing it into the top.....after I glue these to the hull, ill have to remove the shelves again to wrap the stringers and tab the bulkhead and transom.

Ill glue them later when it cools down a bit in there...its 86 inside...

I test fitted the bracing for the water holding tank above the coffin box.

Theres a bracket on top of the fuel tank that will screw into the aft brace. Im gonna take them back in to paint with the grey epoxy

I got the Steering system, shifters and the helm pod and side panel all off. Also maked all the wires and removed the guage cluster and fuse/switch panels.

Theres wood strips to attach the helm pod too, will have to make new ones..

That looks like a lot of work! I am sure you will make quick progress on it....by the way do you have the bubble thermostat set on "Jimmy Buffet concert mode"? Seems a little warm for you northerners! Nice here today, but sounds like it is going down hill next week.

It was 60 outside..lots of sun and I got 26 degree gain!...im in deep doo doo come next summer:eek:

Will cross that bridge when I get there....and yea, theres tons of systems to restore, its a bit intimidating....so one at a time as I go along...so not to defer too much.
