I think a lot of people under estimate CSM. When I did Miss Morgan's restore I only used CSM. She has been used hard for years now and no issues. Also the deck glass is mainly a waterproofing in most cases.
I definitely agree with you about the waterproofing, thats what I did to the bottom of my deck. and very interesting about you using only CSM for your build, I have just followed the herd on here with Cloth being stronger, but hey, if it has worked, then thats pretty sweet.
I used areomarine for my foam, nice people. As a guesstimate you can calculate the approximate volume of foam. I also called them for recommendations. It is expensive. The actual yield is driven by how warm the foam and hull are. I set the foam jugs in hot water to warm it up. The warmer the more yield. It fires off very quickly. Have your act together! I use a funnel to pour it in.
Ok very nice, I may give them a call today. If its still expensive, I may just go to the local dealer and pick some up due to shipping costs and convenience.
Warm the cavity is what ive heard over and over on here as well. Plus have your act together lol yea, Ive seen how much this stuff kicks off. definitely dont want to have it going all over the place. Ill be ready.
Good call with the funnel.
