I'm here! Still plugging away... Everything needs to be done by the weekend of 7/21 - so here is the list:

Re-assebmble Motor
Paint Motor
Tilt/Trim
Add Registration sticker
Fix fuel tanks
Control cables
Link/Sync
Finish wiring

For now, here is a pic of the dash with my driver window installed. I ended up flush mounting my GPS/FF right into the dash to make room for the down speed/temp unit. New steering wheel is a nice upgrade as well.

haha. no kneepads required. I did move the compass, though. the speaker from the radio seemed to be messing it up a little. I have had a radio mounted there since I was 18 and no issues with the knees though.

That is the weekend after my birthday on the the 15 sooo by then the recovery week should be finished and vision should have returned to normal to see that beauty hit the water!

Hahaha thanks for the encouragement! My father called me yesterday and told me that the power tilt/trim pump was seized. He was working on putting the new seal kit in it. So that caused me to make the decision t put the motor on with the manual tilted for the time being. My new plan is to take the motor off again this winter/late fall to paint it and also to put the power tilt/trim back on. This last minute suck fest is a bummer, but I know getting the motor running is going to take some time, so I don't want to wait and not have enough time for that.

So that also means that the motor will look like like a wart on the back of the boat since its not painted. Well see! The fishing is great right now on the lake so I'm mainly just excited to get out on the big water and have some quality time with family and friends.

Some progress!!! Diagnosed my motor issue - ended up being an intermittent issue with the timer base. If all goes well I will pop the new timer in, link/sync, and be landing 35lb salmon by Sunday. haha. here's to wishful thinking!

Install new timer base
Add Registration sticker
Fix fuel tanks
Link/Sync
Paint Motor (postponed till fall 2012)
Tilt/Trim (postponed till fall 2012)

I will likely be doing something different with the passenger seating at some point, but this is actually turned out pretty good.

Yeah! I had to tweak the idle and timing advance the slightest bit, but she is running a lot smoother than she ever has. I'm thinking the trigger actually may have been skipping one cyl. Based on comparing how it ran before and how it runs now.
