Hey Cat, thanks for the complements, and that's why this site is so great, there are so many great guys with awsome ideas we can all build super boats.

Wow really great work dozer. I see you've got another one sitting in the garage right next to it as well. You're a busy man.

You are doing some great work!! I wanted too ask what thickness of foam did you use for the bow back rests? I'm going too use the same concept with the covered screws. Did you find the windshield screw cover vinyl? Taylor made had sent me some samples that didn't fit, so I'm still looking.

Hey Nitro, thanks. I used two layers of 1/2 inch glued together. The screw covers for the windshield I bought from Aluminum 2000 there are quite a few different profiles depending on your windshield. Post # 204 in this thread has some of the profiles and the web site.

Re: 1987 16 ss

Hey Glen thanks for the info. You know if I remember right Taylor Made referred me too them and I talked too them but it didn't sound like they had what I needed. Looking at that schematic last night I think they have something that will work with my measurements, so I'll call them here in a little bit and get a sample. Anyhow thanks again! Ken

Darn it all anyways, Glen...I stopped here to check out your thread featuring the splash part and then backed up to the first page and read through the whole thread. In other words, I was so impressed with the finished look of the SS, I had to spend the better part of 2 hours to see how you did it.

Simply Outstanding, Glen

Glen, I really think the only restore I have seen on here in the same class as your work is North Beach's Liquid Limo.
And actually you have raised the bar and are probably in a class all by yourself.
I feel so inferior...lol

YOU ROCK!!!!

It's too bad you didn't get to share in the Naked Lady skinny dipping after all your hard work, Dozer. She looks really good.

Thanks B2, but no boat shows up here and I'm pretty sure she will be a daily user.
