Dozer - I have been looking around for this stuff too. I happens to be right here on iboats. The first link is to the stuff with the holes in it already but it is white. Not sure how that would look on that little black dress you have her in but the second link is darker foam so that may go for you. That dark foam looks a lot like stuff used for door jam insulation which I can find local and not pay shipping. I think I am just going the local route myself.

Thanks for taking the time to explain your bow pieces to me.

Hey Otte, thanks for the links, but this stuff is real different, I had to go to the city today and had no luck finding the stuff anywhere. I did find a similar looking trim on the Taylormade site but I will have to call them.

Agreed, that windshield makes her look shhhaaaaaarp!:D

Two photos this morning, pinstripping is on, sure is a lot easier to follow the paint line than go free hand like the 18.

That boat looks great Glen. If I were working on it I would probably just stare at it for hours without getting anything done. Really looks fantastic!

Thanks guys, Ya I can't stare at it anymore the back of my head hurts too much from the wife cuffing me there for staring at the naked lady. lol That was the last of the bling to go on, got the seat post mounts yesterday so I can but those in. Waiting for some electrical supplies to come in and should be able to wrap this one up before the water turns soft.

Don't know if anyone else has run into a problem with stainless steel screws twisting off when you go to thread them into a newly drilled hole or not but I have. I found if you dip the tip of the screw into a little grease they will thread right in with no problem, even if the hole is a little too small, just a little FYI

that seems to be a common problem with SS fasteners.....they strip and come apart more than mild steel. good tip...i use brass screws a lot for woodwork and find that the only way to get em in without stripping a lot of heads or shearing off screws is to soap the threads lightly.

Great tip as this has happen to me lots.
Sadly I can't watch this thread any longer.
This boat is just to darn nice.
PM me when you splash it and get it all dirty.
Perhaps with a dent or two and some dock rash.

LOL. I'd be with the guy who randomly appears in the background holding a Wobbly pop, saying things like "Damn she looks good", over and over.

Guess you will have to start all over and get it right. I know I could handle seeing this done all over again. Oh wait... I guess I can by going back to the first page.

dII - very sharp, now you need to chrome the trailer.;)

There is something in the process that makes stainless weaker, heat treat? I have had issues with SS hardware in the past. Nice tip.

That's it! With red and black pinstripes. The Naked Lady has to have a matching bed. :p

Thanks guys, a chrome trailer, yikes!! Darcy just redid the trailer last year. Sand blasted and painted with a special two part rubberized paint. It's getting real hard to squeeze cash out of himm anymore lol.
