Nice job Judge! I'd say you won the dad award by default just for goin above and beyond with cutting out 4 cars and helping your son win best in show!

Super cool Judge, Great job on all the cars...they all came out great and ran really well...but in the end, it's the Hot Rods that Rule!:D

I love the exhaust on the hot rod - that and the paint job look totally boss!

Yeah, my Skeeter has been put on hold indefinitely as I'm going to be starting a new job after Easter. Have a good one, my friend

Getting ready for our District races...so had to go get her detailed (washed and waxed) and parked her in the driveway to show it off

lol..I couldn't resist giving it a fresh coat of wax and running the orbital buffer over her one more time for the big show

Judge, you need to do SOMETHING on your Skeeter! I've been in overdrive on mine (will be putting down the new deck over the next couple of days!) and you CANNOT get too far behind! ;)

I've been watching your seat jobs and they look great, but you can't forget about your boat!

lol, I havent forgotten, but the seats have an expectation of delivery so they are my prime focus....I will work on the skeeter during down times, will be a lot easier when I move to my shop, right now my place is so cluttered I cant even get to the boat

Skeeter has a new home....moved it today, and I can say that I do not have shop envy anymore!

Closed on the new property today, had to get the boat moved first so now maybe I can get back to work on it when I have time between jobs.

Oh yeah that is only the front half of shop, it goes another 30 feet deep, which I will use the back 30 feet for my upholstery area, and front half where boat is will be where I work on the installation/repairs

I've never considered myself an envious person but now I'm havin' second thoughts. A great looking boat and trailer AND room enough IN the shop to snap pics from a distance! I'm glad for ya' Judge. Congrats on both!!!

Thanks, have been truly enjoying the added space, and work is flowing in faster than I can do it, so staying busy. Decided not to post any more of my jobs, but I do keep each job in a photobucket album for the customers to follow progress. Am hoping I can stay busy enough like I am now to justify this move, only time will tell

Re: 1982 Skeeter SS-1 Sport Fisherman Restoration...In Progress

I just bought a 1982 Skeeter SS1-Sport Fisherman that had been setting for 19 years. Boat had a tarp over it but took me about a month to get this far. There are a few more pictures on facebook. I replaced part of the floor, Carpet,Clear coat over metal flake, wiring, tires, paint on wheels and trailer, one tail light, Upholstery, front seat,Water pump, fuel lines, fuel pump gaskets, carb rebuild kits in 1982 70hp Mercury and a lot of work. Paid $500.00 for it and have $796.00 in it. It will run about 44mph with jack plate and Stainless Steel 15"p cupped prop it came with and three people. Came from a 81 year old man who tried to take care of it. I would like to have the decals for the sides if anyone knows where I can get them or a template? My Son can draw it on then I could paint it.
Thanks, Andy
