All prepped for paint.



Light coat of Rustoleum bare metal etching primer.



Half gallon of smoke gray Rustoleum pro, thinned with acetone and majic hardener tossed in. For the record I have never sprayed anything before other than rattle cans. Be lying if I said I wasn't a little nervous. Was really pleased with the results and looks better than my roll/tip paint jobs. Now watching it dry and praying it sticks.

I did spray the hood of my holiday, but that was a debacle due to circuit breakers tripping leaving me hovering over the top of it in the pitch dark, screaming for my wife to go flip it back on. Other than that, yes. New HF hvlp gun and everything.

I didn't spend some QT on YouTube last night watching a lot of videos. A lot of videos. What did we do before the internet?

HVLP gun make life super easy and it's way quicker than using those brushes and rollers. Nice work!
