Re: 1976 Holiday 18 Mercruiser 120

(the bastage took my impactgun!)

Good thing H2O found it.

That's the way I would have gone Glen, the side glass on the blue fin we are redoing is either lexan or plexi and it's 27 years old and still in good shape.

Lexan is nice stuff.

Lexan is much stronger and lighter i couldnt use it for mine because it was thinner and wouldnt fit in the frsme glad to hear its resolved though

I used 6mm lexan, worked great

He's an illusive little terd, But now we know what he looks like!

Ain't that the truth

Think I found it in another thread we've seen... http://forums.iboats.com/starcraft-boats/here-we-go-16ss-638173-15.html#post4566949

Sneaky bugger hid it at Sig's place...

Good one H2O.

I kicked that SOB Murphy out of my shop and down to the glasser section, some one over there is going to be having some problems.

The reason I know he is gone, is the bra is finished and while we were doing the final seam, from one side to the other the Admiral said shouldn't you check the bobbin to see if the is enough thread for the final pass, I said if Murphy is still here I will run out with 6" left to go. When I was done, I lifted the arm on the machine and pulled on the thread and there was a 3" tag left, glad he's gone.

Lexan installed

Mud flaps on the trailer.

Crap now the post in my thread makes perfect sense I missed it

I'd almost give you my 1/2" impact gibbles but not that one I use that 3/8" gun for almost everything, oh yeah and that one is actually my dad's gun its only 30 years old its a Dayton and will absolutely run circles around my 6 month old Craftsman gun.

Good work on Muph, Dozer. Fixed the W/S and got flaps. A good thing you don't have a catamaran - Would have needed two cups, about ZZZ.

Yeah you did I didn't realize I had a pic of that gun in my pics. I love that gun and use it almost daily it is a torque monster (especially for a 3/8") It has removed stuck lugs and rusty trailer bolts my brand new Craftsman wouldn't touch.

I use that thing everyday and it is just a monster.

There are many impact guns like it but this one is mine.

I must be getting a little slow in my old age GA, I had to read that a couple times before I went DUH. I don't think the Alphabit goes high enough to describe the cup size:rolleyes:

Really nice work on the bra Glen looks great.

Thanks John.

First nice day we have had in a while, so In The Red went for her first tow, to the Land fill for a weigh in. With 12 gallons of gas, trolling motor and batts, as well as most of out gear she comes in at 1689lbs the trailer is just over 700. When we got back home it was time to install my new Hot Spark electronic ignition, real easy to install.

Then it was time to prime the carb ad see if she still runs.

Video loading.
