Amazing work and I like the idea of using metal tube for the filled with the expensive rubber on each end. What metal did you use for those pieces you used?

Looks like you tossed you T shirt into the bilge to mop up the fluid.

Thanks H2O, I used pre bent aluminized 1.5"45 degree exhaust elbows from the local auto parts store. No kinks and way cheaper than that fuel hose. Good eye on the t shirts, but they were out of my rag box, you don't think I would use one of my ten year old worn out t shirts to soak up oil do you.;)

Murphy's still hanging around, stinking glassers must have refused him. I would have had the wiring done today if it wasn't for him. I went with the Mercruiser wiring diagram, but someone has obviously been at work. After hooking up the battery to check all the new circuits we have lots that work, Nav lights, stern light, blower, interior lights, blower, horn, blower, for some reason 3 switchs turn the blower on, hmmmm I will have to look into that this week.
The short list keeps getting longer.

List update. Green is complete.

1. Vinyl seat boxes.
2. Make cushions for rear seats
3. Install trim pump and hoses
4. Install blower and hoses
5. Install fuel tank, hoses and water separating filter
6. Install trolling motor, battery and wiring
7. Install anchor bracket and retrieve system
8. Finish wiring 90%
9. Go through out/ drive install new water pump and then the drive.
10.Install new axle on trailer
11.Wire trailer
12. Rebuild carb

the list keeps getting longer, but is significantly shorter than most of us here... Boat looks awesome, I really like how it came together with the red, and diamond plate. Nice work!!!

Hey thanks Jim, hoping spring will be back soon, just had a couple of real wintery days. The trim came from Crappy Tire. Cowles Products - Automotive Molding & Striping easy to use and not real expensive.

Mine's burning and I sharpened the paddle let me know when Sig.

Yeah... our HD rack does not look like that at all :embarassed:

We have two types of angle, dull aluminum and steel.

Heck to find the special tube I have to go to a different hardware store (true value).

Wiring's really got me stumped, before the old harness went back in the boat, it was completely unwrapped and each wire and circuit checked, and confirmed. Then the whole thing was re wrapped and then installed in the boat, I was positive there would be no snafus with this one, then Murphy showed is ugly puss. Oh well it will give me a little challenge for the weekend.

I did get the outdrive gone through and the new water pump installed. Next will be lower shift cable and bellows.
