Well if worse comes to worse you could always take the windshield off the 79 V5 should fit.

Looking really sharp. I have to say the black windshield frame really adds the accent. I think your Adm will get used to it. Nice choice in the lettering too.

Thanks a bunch Guys, She will have to get used to it, the frame was too beat up and full of holes to go on as it was, plus it is already bolted down.
Jim yes there is tread plate going down the center of the bow, so I think it will all come together!! I hope.

They are monitoring everyone's internet usage at work now which isn't good and iboats isn't real mobile friendly, especially not mod functions. Two young children at home doesn't leave me as much time to surf as I had before.

The work thing sucks EZ, and I remember oh so well the busy life of a young family.

13 above here today there is water running everywhere, soft water is a coming. Whooo Hooo.

Todays progress, rub rail channels and rubber installed, bow cap and transom corners installed, Bow tread plate installed, aluminum rear deck trim vinyl'd and installed, Mercruiser 120 degreased and pressure washed.

Nice stuff, Dozer. What did you come up with to edge the bow plate? Looks black to tie the windshield in more.

That's real sharp Glen. Are you not worried about scratching (beating up) that rear deck when installing the motor?

You're vinyl and paint skills are top notch Glen!

Yep +1 for all the above, looking great. Could be Starcraft's new mid-year 2014 boat

That is some awe inspiring work! :encouragement:

That color of red is super sharp, doz your work is truly unbelievable and gives me the drive to head back out to the garage for some more tin action.

Man that's looking great Glen, I don't think an aluminum windshield frame wood look as good as the black, blends in with the rub rail and the diamond plate really sets it off, what did you use on the edges of the diamond plate looks good.

Thanks again everyone. John I used door edge guard, it's real tough and has a glue built into the fold. Real cheep ad Canadian tire.
There so much water in the ditch in front of the house from the melt over the last couple days , I could almost splash her I it if it wasn't for the big hole in the transom. :D

Make a big plug for the big hole, stick in a battery/bilge pump and do leak test in the ditch. Make hay while the sun shines. Also the Admiral will have to agree the black WS looks darn good in the sun. :D Of course that's only if you don't have any other light work to finish before the Doc gives you a free pass.

Dang that is a sharp lookin tin can for sure. It's all coming together with the black accents on the w/s and bump rail.
