Looking very sharp Glen. Me thinks you'll be burning more gas just 'cause...

Looks great man! The whole interior ties in nicely... you and the Admiral can go and just have a coffee or two in there now! Put some of that relaxing wave music on in the background, close your eyes and pretend that you are out on the lake enjoying it!

Nicely done...

Thanks a bunch everyone, EZ I have to fit the aluminum diamond plate on the bow and need the windshield on to do it so I will post a pic.

GA, I've been thinking along the same lines on the black window frame, but the Admiral gave me that look when I suggested it, so I'll have to work on that.

Thanks Jason, It's one of the reasons I drink beer, the cardboard that beer cases are made of are the perfect type for making patterns. All those compound curves needed lots of patterns.:very_drunk:

Re: 1976 Holiday 18 Mercruiser 120

Yesterday was a busy day, took the 18V5 off of it's trailer, and put it on the trailer from the FlowerBed Boat, stripped the hardware off the V5's trailer and combined it with the new hardware I purchased to increase the roller count from 16 to 28 on the Holiday's trailer, then loaded the Holiday, adjusted everything and then put it back on the tires. Whew, combined with the mandatory wobbly pops we slept real good last night, after the great BBQ,d feast of beef and deer steaks the Admiral prepared.

And just cuz you asked so nicely EZ, here's some photos with the windshield set in place.

Don't know how you did it GA, I didn't even have to PM you the Admirals phone # but now she's on board with the black windshield frame.

Next up is secure the aluminum over the engine on the stern, take out all the upholstered parts final sand, prep for paint, I'm hoping to get paint on next weekend.

awesome work Glen!

I'm definitely interested in how it will look with a black frame. :pop2: What's the plan for the top surfaces?
