thanks sig. got the gasket on and put 3 psi to tank, and checked it this am, and it held so tank should be good to go. donor is gonna be awhile to strip down as COLD here.

Yeah good deal on the fuel tank, those things are very very pricey! I got the belly tank dug out of my donor and it's all set for the dump run.

thanks for the warm welcome all, still winter here but its the weekend so gotta chip away at somethin. maybe spend some time strippen the donor down and maybe some time cleaning up the consoles. not sure what i am going to finish em out like yet, but been lurking around on herwe for ideas. no matter what ido with em i gotta start by cleaning em up ,and some sanding.

cool, i dont think this one is gonna get such a fine fate, probably more like h20's got. 7 pm here now and 12 new inches and plenty of wind. a real mess, and going to take a full day tomorrow just to get dug out. making for a real late spring summer in northern mn.

I feel your pain man, I am still itching from the donor boat work, hey I salvaged a great looking gas tank though, a bunch of gauges, and a ton of expensive hardware.
