lights, wheel bearings, and rollers done. i just painted over the wires ( on inside of frame) with a spray can as they really jumped out at you. got a plan for a pinstripe along sides and next step is to get bunks done. then i can put this project behind me. dont think i would be real quick to do another trailer, as i am getting pretty sic of it . kinda a funny story on keel rollers. notice the back most one. it is the old one and different. it is fine and was going to use it, till the admiral saw it , and i explained it is in good shape and around 25.00 bucks to replace. she told me she would buy me one, as that is unexceptable, and clashes. when we got in the house she told me to get on iboats and get another coming, so i did as i was told. hoping she will see the rest of this project the same way. haha

Re: 1973 starcraft ss restore in progress

yo, thanks all for the kind words. i am pleased with how it came out, but not gonna jump at doing another one any time soon. got the bunks carpeted ( see below) . primed the 2x4 to seal them a bit, started with a line down the backside about 2 inches from side (pic 1 ) started carpet along line stapling from middle out on both ends( pic 2 ) then wrapped it all the way over and stapled down. (pic 3) is how i cut the ends, wrapping long narrow end 1st the other shorter side and last the bottom big end over all and stapled. last pic is finished product and came out nice. not sure if standard procedure but worked for me. got pinstripe and mount the bunks left and a tread pad coming for fenders. later all
