well...sinces my taxes have been filed, i decided to make a list of things i NEED to do to the boat, and a list of things i WANT to do....

just noticed that mine is missing the wood trim around the windows, looks like it holds the cloth/vinyl that hides the interior side of the fiberglass....will have to add that to my list

yours looks to be an easier prodject. looking at the pics . yours looks the same accsept the micro, all drivetrain is coming out. the bones are good.let us know your prog.

gonna be getting back on it soon...
ordered me an 18x26x12 carport to go over the boat, get it out of the weather so i can get to work on it...
also going down the list of all the things i need to order...CHA-CHING!!!

weel, just dropped about $2k on parts and other items for the old girl...as soon as the parts start arriving, the work will begin!!!!

well, pulled the outdrive off today. something looked strange...
after looking up in the sticky's in the mercruiser forum...i found out why..
the upper is the original 888 (MC-1) drive, but the PO changed the he lower half to an alpha 1.

does anyone know if there is a seperate serial # on the lower units?

Finally came up with a name for her, my wife wanted to name it after her and suggested "Crazy B*tch"....but we finally settles on "The Bi-Polar Express"
