Re: 1973 14' SmokerCraft Zephyr Rebuild

With the new SN boat in the boatyard, not sorry to see this 1 go. But it's another tinny that left the property intact & on a trailer. Jet held it's head high & proud when it left, this 1 maybe a little less so, but both were well supported by a nice trailer undercarraige. Glasser's do not fair nearly as well:facepalm: Oh the inhumanity.........

Fair well, Walleye Slime............

Actually, I didn't do a thing to that 14 footer other than vacuum all the garbage out. I love the overall dimensions of that SmokerCraft but didn't feel one bit sad to see her go given her replacement.

Also, the fella just wanted the boat, so, I'm actually even on my investment and still have the trailer to sell;) For the Johnson 25, I think I may clean, paint and sticker that to sell at a profit. Maybe, we'll see.

actually a 15 HP was actually the biggest i would have went on her, and 17MPH on it was not bad at all, considering the size............this would have been a killer restore thread, if you had gone that route, but good times, good times indeed:D

The 17-18 mph was cofortable cruze speed. There was wayyyy more throttle left in that 25. Yah, a 9.9 or 15 would have done fine on er.

That flaming hull is so awesome!

I contacted the seller to see if I could get that boat back, he wanted a little more cash than I could cough up. Ah well, I have others here:encouragement:
