I've had some time to do a little bit of work on the boat in the last few weeks. I got the cap back on and the rub rail in place. It's not permanent but will be okay until I get the top done. Today I went down to Waldo to get some help with some carpentry. We got the extended deck measured and installed. We started building the box for the center console it's all coming out pretty great.
Dangerwil I have really enjoyed reading through the thread so far. I really appreciate all the gelcoat knowledge you’re handing out. Great stuff. Can’t wait to see how you redo the Glastron “swoop” with that stencil. I’m working on a 1980 SSV167 and am trying to figure out the best way to put the swoop back on when I get done. I’m going a full strip and re-coat like you did.
Roughing in the cockpit area. Working on seat boxes and rear cockpit wall After lunch, took a break from boat building and built a bench from a couple old wake boards. .Seat boxes finished and console inset and that's it for today!
