I knew teamster would show up...

I'll say this....

This 15 footer set up with a tiller/no splashwell would be a super awesome fishing rig. Would have been about a 1000x easier to build too!

But, for me, I just wanted a console:)

Everything old is new again, I suppose. It seems like for the longest time it was all about having a console that you could launch a space shuttle from, but it looks like more folks are getting back to basics using tillers and the like. Plus, you can do virtually everything via tiller nowadays including start/stop, shifting gears, trim, etc.....pretty slick. I even see all kinds of fancy, $100+, carbon fiber tiller extensions these days that lots of the flats guides use while sitting on their poling platforms. Although, I like my $2 PVC version better :) All that being said, I keep toying with the idea of adding a console of some sort to my boat, but I should probably quit while I'm ahead. Less is more and all that jazz.

Hey Glen, How's it going? Yeah, Jas put this boat on hold for now and is working on the seat boxes for his Islander. That's what he says anyway. No photos=didn't happen.:D We need to pay him a little "visit" and see if we can't shake him up a little. Starmada's on the rampage!!!:)

i think you just like excuses to stay away from the water with that shiny, purdy lookin thing. Back home we would call you a highway surfer, board on top the car, suit on and just crusing by the hot spots, never getting in.

I believe here it's called a trailer queen.......

Just jigging down river of z bridge. Use trolling motor and keep it vertical on the edge of the shipping channel.
