Re: 1965 Starcraft Holiday

It's been a little while since the last update.

Motors back where it belongs. Had the fuel pumps rebuilt, new fuel lines, oil changed,New impeller, Compression was checked and everything is hit were it's supposed to. New steering cable and steering wheel, Would have prefered to keep the old wheel but it did not hook up to the new cable.

Real good progress 65, looks like the prop has seen better days.

Thanks guys, Yeah, I want to replace the prop before i splash her. Just not sure what size to get yet. I don't see any markings on the old one. Anyone have any suggestions?

Re: 1965 Starcraft Holiday

a 17 pitch would probably be a good starting point. I got a Turning Point Hustler for mine which is very reasonably priced. It solved an issue I was having with blowout when nailing it from a dead stop and also some blowout in turns.

Nice job on the boat! I like those old Merc motors. I a 1967 Merc 650 on my Nassau.

You did a nice job there 65! What did you end up using on the deck? Is that vinyl? And I like the paint scheme...
