Yeah, looks like good material there, you could have that rehabbed in no time! Surely your wife can let you have another 15' in the yard!

Here's something for you to work on when you're not busy: Lonestar 1962 w/ motor and trailer

Man, it's a good thing I don't live in Troy, NY. I'd be on that like a June Bug on a Light Bulb!!!!!

I gotz $300 dolla!!!!!!

Merc didn't have a 70 horse in '72. Just a 65 4 cylinder. Either one would be fun...

Guess, I won't be a tinner. Deck and Transom were PT Plywood. Told the owner it would have to be replaced cuz it would eat the boat. He told me I didn't know what I was talking about. Offered $400. He laughed and told me to leave. I Did.

Oh well, maybe next time. You just know what you know even if what they think they know, they don't know. You know what I mean?

Well, I guess I'll learn a bit about working with aluminum as I work on the little trailer. My wife reminded me last night that I had that project to do, and did NOT need another boat, but she did agree that I could get it, for $400 but not a penny more. Looks like the camper project will get started in a few weeks. BF gets uncovered and motor work started this weekend. Hope I can get her fired up and the carb and idle issues all worked out. If not I'll be looking for a 70hp. Andgott is on a Cruise on the Great Lakes or I'd be figuring out a way to get his 70hp Old Merc up to Broken Arrow.

I have no pics or vids so...

I did NOT take the BF's winter Clothes off:watermelon:
I did NOT Have my BIL fix the rough idle/WOT issue and get the motor running GREAT again.:joyous:
I did NOT get the loose steering column repaired and working fine.:)
I did NOT sand down the deck and get her prepped for the final coats of Epoxy and paint.

I WILL take pics soon to PROVE that I did nothing over the holiday other than enjoy my Grandkids and reflect on the many friends of mine that paid the ultimate price so that I could enjoy the holiday with my loved ones.

Well put Mike. That's about what I do on our Memorial Day equivalent... ANZAC Day (25th April).
