Ok, It was 106? in Broken Arrow, OK today!!!! I put the Boat in the Garage with some fans, and did some work but not much. I got the ski tow rings mounted and 5200'd back in. I also finished polishing the Aluminum corner pieces on the splashwell and temporailly mounted the Polished Aluminum Splashwell. It still needs a lot of work so I will not permanently mount it till later. I rounded up the cleats and the bow light and horn and set them in place but did not mount them. I also mounted the steering wheel but only temporarily just to see what she would look like. Kinda nice to see things going back together.

Looks good puttin' things on instead of takin' things off. Even is just temporary fitting is uplifting. Is that the horn behind the bow light in the first pic? Cool and very classy. Your blue vinyl and paint will go together nicely too.

Looks KOOL and looks LOUD. I like the old stuff. Reason I asked is it sorta looked like a spot light, looked a little closer and saw the bell. Neato.

Hey Wood, I think that color is very close, or looks close enough in the pics... Go for it. Great tip on the foam aquisition, I've priced the foam as well and it is expensive. thanks for everything so far. I hope to pull the engine in mine this weekend...

Yeah, the wheel is off an old Mark Twain boat. I got it off Ebay when I destroyed the Original during removal. It was weather cracked and oxidized to the point of No Return anyway. I had to do some creative adaptation to make it work but it did so I thought I might as well custom paint it to match the boat while I was at it. I really like the look as well.

It's good to be back home (in some ways, had a great time at the lake) and see all the progress. Starting to look like a different boat. I think the color of your vinyl is real close and should look good.

What kind of flag are you going to stick on that cool looking pole?

By the way, what's the length of your boat?

I feel for ya, it's just as bad as too cold, too much rain, snow etc. etc. that impedes our work.

Thanks for the boat & flag info. that's gonna look sharp. Great color match again too.

Well it's been hotter than He--double hockey Sticks so not much doin's on the boat. Some Light assembly, got the Steering Cable Pulleys mounted and all the deck hardware. Would like all of your opinions on the Seat Vinyl layout. Got a pic of the two different layout. Which one do you think would be best.

Remember this is what the seats will HOPEFULLY look Like...

I know its hard to determine with out the seats in the boat but the left might be too much blue, so I like the one on the right seems to be enough to give an accent. Also in my mind more white might mean less heat to sit on in the sun.

I'm a pragmatist, so I'd go with the one on the left with less white. Cooler in the sun and easier to keep clean!
