Should I use it? I have it so I'm thinking why not right?

Sure. Zap it with some black spray paint to freshen it up and it'll be good as new.

Agreed, use it. You're lucky to have it, I had to make something from aluminum for mine. Remove the loose paint with a wire wheel or brush, light coat of ZC primer & Rustoleum, you'll be good to go.

Ok I'm still plugging away at this and I'm quickly running out of warm weather lol. Had a close call last night. We had some major storms roll thru and a large branch snapped off the tree. It landed a couple of feet away from the boat. The boat was in the exact spot the branch fell just a few days ago. I moved it so it would be in the sun longer. Here's some a couple of pics.

That would have left a dent for sure LOL

Ok got everything stripped off the boat and I got the dash out...(It wasn't as easy as I thought it was going to be lol).

These were a little tricky to get to but once I was able to knock the bolts out the dash slid out.

Incase anyone is wondering what's behind the metal plate under the bow...here ya go a big honk'n piece of foam!

Next I pulled her off the trailer and flipped her over. Then proceeded to give her a nice scrub'in! Before

Now on to the trailer...strip, prime, paint and add the new hardware!
Then I'll get started on the new transom and dash.

Be patient and thorough; it will be beautiful.

Best of luck!
