According to him he's gonna be selling off everything eventually. Sounded like he has been picking up some things but also inherited a bunch of it. Just cool seeing all them old motors in one place.

Spent some QT with the trailer on this gorgeous spring day. New winch and strap, swing away wheeled tongue jack, safety chains, and went through the wires and got the lights working.

Threw on a little color today, then flipped her on the trailer. Need to adjust all the guides and bunks way down, sitting pretty high now. Also replaced the bad piece of wood in one if the folding seats.

Thanks GA!

Next on the agenda is im gonna cut that bow open a little more/cleaner looking. Thinking I might have to paint the insides. Now that the outside is looking purty, it looks like someone threw up inside, we'll see.

Why paint/clean up the inside? I do remember how nice it was inside at homecoming. She's gonna be a nice fishing boat for ya, CB.

Cut the now open a little more. Looks much better and the top of the arch is now right near a support so it's not as flimsy. Now just need to figure an edge trim so if the boat stops quick the person up front doesn't get cut in two..... That would be unfortunate. Nailed it with the blue paint obviously.

Cheap & easy: door edge guard

That's looking good. Are those rivets in front of the curve for the under support? Some form of edging and you won't double the passenger load with a quick stop.

Exactly what I was thinking - door edge guard.

Yeah, there is a rib that runs across under there. Good suggestion on the door edge stuff.

I like this stuff PVC Edge Trim 62-1/16 - J & J Auto Fabrics, Inc. it's a little heavier than the standard door edging and you can get it in different colors. If you are not picky about the color and black is okay with you, you can run to your local junk yard and usually find some around the interior openings. I can usually get it for free because I purchase other stuff from them regularly but since it is not something that most junk yards inventory, you might get it free too, or at least for just a little cash. That is what I finally used to fill the gap in my dash trim. I found a piece with an extra seal strip made to it and it worked nicely to even things out.

Just realized I never posted any finished pictures. We used the old girl all last summer, great boat, and really stable for having its curved narrow back end.

My son (7), helped put it in and out like an old pro all season. Proud dad moment here, knowing he's old enough to help out and wondering where the time went. =)
