Ha! There is no internet at the lake.....I like that! Just the lake, drinking coffee, watching the squirrels....I had a good day on Friday, did some chores then took her out for a test spin in the afternoon, it seems like things are running correctly now. There is a little cutting out on top end, but I'm wondering if that is the fuel filter. I'm going to change that and see what happens.
Things went down hill after that. I got back to my place and found out that the AC died while I was gone
So 95 and high humidity aren't much fun without AC....there was a breeze off of the lake that made it bearable. I had just resolved that I needed to call the AC guy (have to drive down the road to get a signal on my cell phone)......I had just got his number and headed for the truck when one of my neighbors came over. He has started something of a fight over an abandoned road easement. I had been trying to stay out of it....anyhow he came over to "recruit" me for his sided and ended up with me telling him to get off my property
. Why is it I just want to relax and they want to stir up things! Well I'm pretty sure he understands my position....I used communications skills that would make a Marine Corp drill instructor envious!
Hopefully they will leave me alone next time! Anyhow I had planned on taking her to Tenkiller the next day to hang out at David K's. The HVAC guy was supposed to be out Saturday at 9:30.....great I can still make it to David's.....3:30 or so he finally got there and determined that my antique AC unit (40 years old) needed a new fan motor.....naturally its an old style and he didn't have one! So he is ordering one for me....I was tried, hot and didn't feel good at that point, so I loaded up and headed back home.... got back around 6:30, ate dinner and went to bed early! Hopefully next weekend will be smoother!
